Anne-Marie Gar Wai Leong is an experienced professional in the field of branding and marketing. Anne-Marie Gar Wai has held various leadership roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2007, they started their career as a Designer and Marketing Assistant at IBI Group. Anne-Marie Gar Wai then worked as a Packaging Designer at RKW Communications from 2008 to 2010. Anne-Marie joined The Brand Union as a Senior Designer in 2012, where they worked on projects for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Mondelēz, and China Mobile. Anne-Marie Gar Wai also served as an Art Director & Brand Strategist at Tommy Li Design Workshop, focusing on branding projects in Greater China, Korea, and Hong Kong. Afterwards, they joined Grey DPI as a Regional Creative Director, leading a team of creatives in Hong Kong and Singapore. Anne-Marie then worked at Landor as a Design Director, where they contributed their expertise in retail shopper marketing and led a team working across various regions. Anne-Marie Gar Wai also held the position of Part-time Lecturer & Senior Brand Consultant at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, teaching and mentoring students in the Communication Design program. Prior to their current position as the Founder of Maise, they served as the Managing Partner & Regional Head of Planning at TracyLocke, where they managed the SC Johnson Regional account across Greater China and South East Asia.

Anne-Marie Gar Wai Leong holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Anne-Marie Gar Wai also has an MA in Design with a focus on Management and Policy from Lancaster University. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Practising Management Consultant (PMC) from the Singapore Business Advisors & Consultants Council and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in 2021.
