Charlène Brière

Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, is a highly experienced professional in nursing informatics and clinical documentation. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene specializes in clinical documentation and leads initiatives in care plans and patient bedside education. Prior experience includes the role of Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where Charlene implemented the A4 Healthmatics ED application in a trauma center, and served as a Senior Business Consultant for Kaiser Permanente IT, focusing on modeling clinical concepts for the Convergent Medical Terminology. Charlene began their career as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
