Rhys Johnson

Rhys Johnson has extensive experience in supply chain management within the wine and supermarket industries. Rhys is currently the Head of Supply Chain Operations at Majestic Wine since June 2021. Previously, they worked at Berkmann Wine Cellars from August 2010 to June 2021, where they held the position of Head of Operations and Group Supply Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including commercial aspects such as negotiations with freight forwarders, warehouse providers, and transportation cost monitoring. Prior to that, Rhys worked at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd from September 2006 to July 2010, serving as a Category Supply Manager for Dairy and later for Health & Beauty. In these positions, they successfully managed product availability, stock loss targets, and stock budget for a wide range of products.
