Desiree Landazabal

Desiree Landazabal is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for the Northeast at Major Food Group since November 2021, Landazabal previously held positions including Area Director of Human Resources at Gurney's Resorts and Director of Human Resources at The Standard, High Line. Additional roles encompass Senior Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Manager at The Standard Hotels, Assistant Human Resources Manager at Soho Beach House, and a Regional Sales Coordinator for Production and Entertainment at Morgans Hotel Group. Commencing a career as a Front Office Agent at The Shore Club, Landazabal holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Florida International University.
