Hackathon Community Manager at Major League Hacking

Christine Kim is a Computer Science student at UCLA, with extensive experience in community engagement and event management within the tech field. Currently serving as the Hackathon Community Manager and Coach at Major League Hacking since March 2022, Christine provides mentorship and event support for coders. Christine also holds the position of Gallery Operations Student Lead and Gallery Ambassador at Hammer Museum. Previous roles include Managing Editor at OutWrite Newsmagazine, Technical Director for the Society of Women Engineers, and JEDI Director at ACM Teach LA, where Christine focused on promoting equity and inclusivity in educational practices. As Director of QWER Hacks, Christine successfully managed UCLA's first LGBTQIA+ hackathon, while also working as an Independent Tutor, providing STEM support to students.
