Nishant Nereyeth

Nishant Nereyeth has a diverse range of work experience in the sports industry. Nishant has served as the Director of Operations and Marketing for Major League Rugby, where they handled competition operations and assisted with marketing and sponsorship efforts. Nishant also oversaw the daily operations of Rugby United NY, the first professional rugby team in New York. Nishant was involved in all aspects of the business, including investment, sponsorship, marketing, and player operations. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Mark H McCormack Department of Sport Management, where they collaborated on research projects focused on sport fans and organizations. Nishant also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the same institution. Nishant gained international experience as an Events and Commercial Intern at USA Rugby, where they helped plan and execute various rugby events. Nishant started their career as a Regional Development Officer for the Indian Rugby Football Union, where they focused on growing participation and managing teams/competitions. Before that, they worked as an Events and Product Development Executive at Runners For Life, assisting with organizing running events and providing support to clients. Overall, Nishant has a strong background in sports management and has demonstrated their capabilities in various roles.

Nishant Nereyeth's education history begins with their high school education at The Valley School in Bangalore, where they obtained a Indian School Certificate in Science. This education lasted from 1995 to 2007.

After completing high school, Nishant attended the Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology at the University of Pune. Here, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from 2007 to 2011.

Following their undergraduate studies, Nishant furthered their education at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst. There, they pursued a dual degree program, earning both an MBA and an MS in Sport Management. This educational journey took place from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Nishant holds additional certifications in the field of rugby coaching. In 2013, they obtained Level 2 Rugby Coach certification and also became a Rugby Coach Educator. Both certifications were obtained from World Rugby.
