Annie Jennings is a Managing Director for the Interim Legal Talent group in the New York office. With a strong focus on client service, collaboration and business development, Annie works closely with law firms to provide seconded attorneys for interim or project-based scenarios and non-attorney legal professionals for both interim and direct-hire openings. Annie also provides consulting legal recruitment services to in-house legal departments, successfully placing lawyers at senior levels into small and large law departments.

Annie is a two-time finisher of the NYC Marathon. Born and raised in New York, she is an avid traveler and loves reading historical biographies, doing the NY Times crossword puzzle and visiting the many cultural institutions throughout New York. Annie lives in Brooklyn with her husband, John; two children, Sam and Katherine; and Havanese dog, Louie.

Annie started her legal career as an associate in the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Shearman & Sterling in New York, working on both acquisition and divestiture transactions in a variety of industries including the manufacturing, forestry and food industries. Annie also worked as a consulting attorney in the law department of a major consumer products company, before being recruited to join a start-up legal search firm.

Since moving into legal recruitment, Annie has gained 15+ years of industry experience as a successful legal search entrepreneur, director of business development and managing director of several legal search organizations. She has extensive experience in designing, implementing and executing legal search requirements and has a proven record in delivering results to clients, from individual high level placements to large and complex legal team placements.
