Christine Kennedy

Managing Director at Major, Lindsey & Africa

Christine Kennedy, Managing Director on the Transform Advisory Services team, guides clients through best practices for their legal departments ranging from best-fit technology to a full-scale organizational design implementing strategic talent, workflow and processes, and future-state technology plans.

Christine began her career practicing law in New York, focused on environmental toxic torts and navigating the complexities of high volume, high stakes litigation, including the World Trade Center litigation in the Southern District of New York. In representing national corporations pressed to defend methods of manufacturing and awareness of potential contaminants, Christine closely scrutinized organizations from top to bottom to assemble the best defense. The level of detail and organization from practice proved valuable moving in-house for the leading financial services institution, navigating ever-changing regulations while managing mortgage-banking litigation in the wake of the global mortgage and credit crisis.

In her role as Vice President and AGC at JP Morgan, Christine was responsible for guiding and collaborating with outside counsel in order to fulfill the internal business-client needs. In practice, and in years prior with the U.S. State Department, she had to command the necessity of being a liaison above all other responsibilities. This was invaluable while working for the Big Four advising on best practices and strategic initiatives for corporations preparing to respond to regulatory demands. It is this combined experience and her unrelenting drive that makes her a trusted advisor whom clients go to with their arduous challenges and a valued member of the Transform Advisory services team.
