Elizabeth Long

Elizabeth Long, a Partner in the Philadelphia In-House Counsel Recruiting team, specializes in the recruitment of general counsel, chief compliance officers and other senior attorneys for corporate legal departments as well as not-for-profits and governmental units. She works closely with her clients to understand their needs and identify talent that will grow and thrive with the organization.

Elizabeth joined Major, Lindsey & Africa after 16 years in private practice. She spent the last 12 of those years at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, where she was a shareholder. Her practice focused on litigation and counseling clients regarding employment and post-employment issues, such as employment agreements, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, business torts and unfair competition. Prior to that, Elizabeth worked as an associate with both Silverman, Bernheim & Vogel and Britt, Hankins, Schaible & Moughan in Philadelphia and was a clerk for the Honorable Thomas M. Del Ricci of the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
