Keisha Akins

Keisha Akins, MBA, currently serves as the Accounting Manager at Make-A-Wish America within the Shared Financial Services since October 2022. Prior to this role, Akins held the same position at First Methodist Houston from September 2020 to March 2022 and worked as an Accountant at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church from May 2016 to December 2019, where oversight of daily operations, payroll, benefits administration, and budgeting was key. Earlier experience includes serving as a Human Resources Development Assistant at Change Happens and as an Accounting and Finance Administrator at Bureau Veritas Group. Akins holds an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management, a BS in Business Administration and Management, and an AA in Accounting, all obtained from the University of Phoenix.
