Andres Tamayo has a diverse work experience in marketing and advertising. Andres started their career as a Public Relations and Promotions Intern at The Vidal Partnership in 2007. Andres then worked as a Marketing Intern at Animatic in 2008 and as a Project Management/New Business Intern at Grey Group: G2 Direct and Digital. In 2010, they joined Saatchi & Saatchi as an Assistant Account Executive and later became an Account Executive and then an Account Supervisor. At Saatchi & Saatchi, they worked with Novartis on global campaigns and managed production budgets. In 2013, they joined JWT as an Account Manager and oversaw digital activation and execution of Johnson & Johnson's FIFA World Cup Sponsorship. Andres also worked on the development of Zyrtec's advertising campaign and mobile app refresh strategy. In 2014, they joined Deep Focus as an Account Supervisor before joining MAC Cosmetics in 2016. At MAC Cosmetics, they have held various roles, including Social Media Manager, Global Consumer Marketing Director - Lip, Eye & Holiday, and currently, they serve as the Global Marketing Director - Collections & Collaborations.
Andres Tamayo received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and International Business from Villanova University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they also studied Spanish Studies at the Instituto Internacional de Madrid. Andres has also obtained additional certifications in "Building Resilience as a Leader" and "Subtle Shifts in Thinking for Tremendous Resilience" from LinkedIn in the year 2022.
