Jesús Acosta-Iriqui

Jesús is from Cananea, Sonora, Mexico and graduated from The University of Arizona. He is currently working as a project coordinator for an institute that hosts university women students from indigenous and afro descent from Latin America. Throughout his graduate studies, different literacy projects, and teaching pre-service teachers in Early Childhood Education Jesús has been working with families (parents and children) addressing mathematics and multiple literacies at the intersection of language and culture. Jesus is a very outgoing person, enjoys the outdoors, bicycling and skiing on winter time.
