Vishal Gulati

Vishal Gulati has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Vishal is currently working at MakeMyTrip as a Principal Software Engineer, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, Vishal worked at MakeMyTrip as a Lead Software Engineer from April 2021 to December 2022, and as a Senior Software Engineer II from December 2019 to March 2021. Before joining MakeMyTrip, they worked at Nagarro as an Associate Lead, Technology from March 2019 to December 2019. During their time at Nagarro, Vishal worked on developing an application called IMP (Intelligent Monitoring Platform) for their client, focusing on the front-end side. Vishal also worked at Publicis Sapient as a Senior Interactive Developer from May 2017 to March 2019, where they worked on developing 3 applications in React JS for their client, RBS - Royal Bank of Scotland. Additionally, Vishal has experience working at Infosys as a Senior System Engineer from October 2015 to April 2017, and as a System Engineer from October 2013 to September 2015. During their time at Infosys, they focused on web UI development using various technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular JS, Angular2, and Typescript. Vishal worked in Agile environments following Scrum methodologies and contributed to various stages of the software development lifecycle.

Vishal Gulati completed their high school education from Riverside D.A.V Public School in Ambala Cantt. between 2002 and 2009. During this time, they studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.

Following high school, Vishal attended Maharishi Markandeshwar Engineering College, M.M.U, Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Engineering from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Vishal obtained several certifications. In September 2016, they received the Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 certification from Microsoft. In August 2015, they obtained the Web 2.0 and Social Media Domain Certification from Infosys. Furthermore, Vishal holds certifications in Angular and JavaScript from TestDome, both obtained in July 2019.
