Jacek Czarnecki is a Polish lawyer and business strategist who currently serves as the Global Legal Counsel for MakerDAO. Jacek has also served as a Board Member for thinkBLOCKtank and the Ministerstwo Cyfryzacji, and was previously the General Counsel & Business Strategist for Neufund.
Czarnecki began their legal career at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, where they served as a Member of the Council for Digitization. Jacek later joined Neufund as their Global Legal Counsel, before moving on to MakerDAO in the same role.
At MakerDAO, Czarnecki has been instrumental in safeguarding the Maker Protocol intellectual property, and currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Dai Foundation. Jacek is also a Co-Chair of the Finance Working Group at INATBA, and is a leading voice in the European blockchain industry.
Jacek Czarnecki has a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, an MSc in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford, and a Master of Law from the University of Warsaw.
