Indra Stehl

Indra Stehl currently serves as Legal Counsel for Global Commercial Law at BIRKENSTOCK, starting in June 2025. Prior to this role, Indra worked at Seyfarth at Work as a Compliance and Workplace Integrity Coach for the EMEA and APAC regions from July 2019 to May 2025, specializing in ethics, compliance, and leadership coaching for multinational clients. Indra is also the founder and tutor of the German Club Honeywell Schools, an after-school program established in March 2016, aimed at bilingual or multilingual children. A career break for maternity and family leave was taken from 2014 to 2016, during which Indra engaged in fundraising activities for Honeywell Schools in London. Earlier legal experience includes roles as an attorney at Haarmann Partnerschaftsgesellschaft, PICOT Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, and REWISTO Rechtsanwaelte, with a focus on M&A and corporate law, as well as a postgraduate judicial clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne from 2003 to 2005. Indra holds a Second State Examination in Law with Distinction and a First State Examination in Law from the University of Cologne, along with previous legal studies at Universität des Saarlandes.
