Russell Cairns

Russell Cairns has over seven years of experience in education, currently serving as a STEAM Coach and Digital Technologies Teacher for K-8 at the NSW Department of Education since April 2016. Russell co-founded Dynamic Duo Events and Digiteach Sandpits and has held various ambassadorial roles, including Osmo Classroom Ambassador and Makers Empire Teacher Ambassador, since 2019. Additionally, Russell is recognized as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and was honored as ICT Leader of the Year by ICT Educators NSW in 2021. Russell's educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education from The University of Notre Dame Australia and a Bachelor of Education focused on Action Research from Australian Catholic University.
