Chong Yao

Chong Yao is a software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently working at MakersPlace since February 2022, focusing on NFT and Web 3.0 product development. Previously, Chong held various roles at Pinterest from October 2017 to February 2022, contributing to the Ads and Growth teams by building advertiser recommendation systems, integrating Salesforce, and implementing web landing pages and A/B testing experiments. Earlier positions include software engineering at Poshprofiles and tech lead at OH!YA, INC. Additionally, Chong has a solid foundation in ASIC verification from roles at Magnum Semiconductor, Atria Logic Inc., and Cisco. Chong holds a Master's Degree in VLSI design from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Wuhan University.
