Colleen Quinn

Colleen Quinn is the current head of people at MakersPlace. Colleen has over 9 years of experience in operations and people management. Prior to MakersPlace, Colleen was the director of people operations at WiredScore from March 2019 to February 2021. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of people operations, including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.

Before WiredScore, Colleen was the people and operations lead at Parsely, Inc. from June 2016 to March 2019. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of workplace operations and human resources. Colleen also managed a team of remote employees. Prior to Parsely, Colleen was the workplace operations manager at Optimizely from March 2015 to June 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, including facilities, event planning, and budgeting.

Colleen began their career in 2012 as an office manager at Blue State Digital. In this role, they managed office operations and provided administrative support to the team. Colleen then transitioned into a role as an operations manager at SHoP Architects in 2013. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of office operations for the company’s New York City and San Francisco offices.

Colleen has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
