Samuel Duchenne

Samuel Duchenne has a strong background in retail and operations, with experience ranging from senior roles to founding their own company. Samuel most recently served as the Managing Director at Makisu, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Retail & Operations consultant at SD Retail from July 2023 to November 2023. From July 2018 to June 2023, Samuel worked as the Operations Director at Lunch Garden. Before that, they were the Commercial Manager at Lidl Belgium & Luxemburg GmbH from January 2015 to June 2018. Samuel also has experience as a Co-founder at Hopdog, where they worked from May 2011 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, Samuel worked as a Manager at Kurt Salmon from September 2007 to April 2011, and as a Senior Business Controller at Carrefour from 2003 to 2007.

Samuel Duchenne attended Ecole des Bruyères from 1980 to 1989 for their primary education. Samuel then went to Lycée Martin V from 1989 to 1993 for their high school education. After that, they enrolled in Institut Saint-André, where they completed their high school education from 1993 to 1996. Finally, Samuel pursued their Maîtrise degree in Finance from 1997 to 2002 at Ichec Brussels Management School.
