Fredrik Wallin started their work experience in 2002 at Mälardalen University. Fredrik held various roles, including Head of Department and Senior Lecturer. Fredrik also worked as a Project Leader, focusing on automatic meter reading systems and energy forecasting. Additionally, they served as a SACO Chairman and Vice Chairman, representing members in negotiations and university activities. In 2009, Wallin joined Svenska Energigruppen AB as Co-Owner and later became Chairman and Owner.
Fredrik Wallin attended Mälardalen University from 1997 to 2001, where they received their Master of Science degree in energy, combustion, district heating, power, and combined heat and power (CHP) systems. Fredrik then pursued further education at the same university from 2002 to 2005, obtaining a Technical Licentiate degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering. Continuing their academic journey, Fredrik completed their Ph.D. degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering at Mälardalen University, which spanned from 2002 to 2010.
