Marcus Bjelkemyr

Marcus Bjelkemyr is an experienced academic and researcher with a focus on innovation, design, and sustainable production. Currently serving as a Lecturer and Coordinator for the master program in Innovation and Design at Mälardalen University since October 2011, Marcus also holds the position of Head of Division of Information Design at the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Fellow, where research centered on life cycle approaches to product realization, and Expert for the European Commission evaluating Horizon 2020 applications. Prior to these roles, Marcus conducted research at KTH, specializing in sustainable production and closed loop supply chains, while also supervising graduate students. Education includes a PhD in Production Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. A visiting researcher at MIT strengthened Marcus's international research experience.
