Jim Garness

Jim Garness works as the Director of Supplier Diversity & Corporate Partnerships at Malark Companies, where Jim has been since April 2022. Prior to this, Jim held various roles at Xcel Energy for over two decades, including Supplier Diversity Specialist, Senior Foundation Representative, Business Planning and Sourcing Consultant, Product Developer, and Product Manager. Before Xcel Energy, Jim worked at Northern States Power Company for twelve years in roles such as Wholesale Electric Account Representative, Contract Administrator, Regulatory Affairs Manager, Regulatory and Conservation Manager, and Customer Account Specialist. Jim graduated from Saint John's University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
