Valerie Cruz serves as Chief of Staff at Maybank since November 2023, having previously held the position of Head of Human Capital & Chief Administrative Officer at Maybank Investment Banking Group from July 2021 to November 2023. Prior roles at Maybank include Head of Rewards, Organization Development & Talent Management and Head of Organization Development, Talent Management, Employee Engagement & Internal Communication from January 2019 to June 2021. Valerie's extensive experience also includes leadership roles in human resources and organizational development at organizations such as Cebu Pacific Air, UnionBank of the Philippines, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Rustan's Supercenters, and ABS-CBN Interactive. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a major in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Scholastica's College, a Master of Science in Psychology, specializing in Industrial/Organizational from De La Salle University, and a Human Resource Certificate from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
