Sofia Herrmann

Sofia Herrmann is a seasoned Human Resources professional with experience in talent acquisition and human capital business partnership. Currently serving as a Senior Executive in Human Capital Business Driver (HRBP) at Malaysia Airlines since January 2023, Sofia supports the In-Flight Services (Cabin Crew) and E-commerce business units to enhance people management capabilities. Prior experience includes a recruiter position at Shopee, a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, where Sofia contributed to connecting shoppers, brands, and sellers. Additionally, Sofia gained talent acquisition experience at Nestlé, where involvement included managing the hiring process for the Management Trainee Programme and supporting senior recruitment specialists. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English for Professionals from Universiti Sains Malaysia, obtained in 2021.
