Ariana Mathews

Ariana Mathews is an experienced educator specializing in ESL instruction, currently serving as a 5th/6th Grade ESL Teacher at Malden Public Schools since November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a 6th Grade Transitional ESL Teacher and Adult ESOL Instructor at Chelsea Public Schools, as well as a Tisch Summer Fellow at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and the Intergenerational Literacy Program. Ariana co-taught in a 3rd grade Sheltered English Immersion classroom with City Year Boston, where also served as the 2021 Commencement Speaker. Ariana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Education from Tufts University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Studies at Tufts University, set to graduate in 2025.
