Mazin Mohamed has extensive work experience with the Maldives Police Service, starting as a Patrol Officer in 2001 and progressing through various roles such as Inspector of Police, Sub Inspector of Police, and Police Chief Station Inspector. Mazin has held positions in areas like strategy planning and development, command of an atoll, academic registrar, and head of training. Mazin has also served as an international liaison officer, head of research and innovation, and corporate planning and marketing officer. Mazin has been involved in teaching and coordinating training programs related to investigative skills, human rights, policing ethics, and supervisory skills. In addition to their work with the police service, Mazin has also served as a Director on the Board of Directors for the Police Welfare Corporation Pvt Ltd.
Mazin Mohamed completed their Higher National Diploma in Business and Management Studies from the International College for Business and Technology in 2010. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Business and Management Studies from the University of Wales, Cardiff, which they finished in 2011. Later on, in 2014, Mazin enrolled at Taylor's University, where they obtained their Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Business and Trade Law, completing their studies in 2016.
