Russell Goldberg

Director of Food Safety at MALK Organics

Russell Goldberg has been working in the food industry since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Restaurant Server at Brickhouse BBQ in Madison. Russell also worked at University of Wisconsin-Madison in University Housing. In 2011, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at UCI: Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders. In 2012, they worked as a Tutor and Physics Teacher Assistant at Chapman University. In 2013, they worked as a QA Intern at Fresh & Easy. In 2014, they worked as a Quality Assurance Quality Control Supervisor at Soyfoods Of America. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a QA Manager at Di Bella Coffee. Since 2019, they have been the Director of Food Safety at MALK Organics.

Russell Goldberg completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Biology, General from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. Russell then attended Chapman University and obtained their M.S. Food Science in 2013 and their MBA in International Business in 2013. In 2014, they were GMP Certified by SQF and in 2018 they obtained a Food Protection Manager Certification from 360 Training Ltd. In 2019, they became a SQF Practioner and a CPFM Food Safety Manager (HACCP) from the International HACCP Alliance. Most recently, in 2021 they obtained a FSPCA Preventative Control for Human Food certification from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA).
