Jean Charretteur

Jean Charretteur has extensive work experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Jean served as the Managing Director of MallGroup since 2022 and the Managing Director of UNO Hypermarché from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chairman Advisory Board at Toys R Us Iberia, SA from 2018 onwards. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Managing Director of Toys"R"Us in France, Spain, and Portugal. Before that, they worked at METRO AG as the Global Non-Food Commercial Director from 2012 to 2017. Jean also held several positions at Dixons Retail, including Managing Director - Dixons Travel, Commercial Director - International Buying and Corporate Purchasing, and Commercial Director - PC World. Jean started their career at CARREFOUR as a National Buyer and later became an International Negotiator. Overall, Jean Charretteur has a diverse background in retail management and leadership roles.

Jean Charretteur completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration at Oxford Brookes University from 1991 to 1992. Jean then pursued a Master's degree in International Business at Burgundy School of Business - BSB from 1994 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, European Laws, and International trade from European Business Management School - Barcelona (Spain) in partnership with Oxford Brookes University. Jean Charretteur also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Oxford Brookes University.
