Kathy Powers

Kathy Powers has a diverse work experience with various companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Kathy is currently working at Mallinckrodt as the Director of Project Management in the Global Program Management division. In this role, they lead and manages cross-functional teams to meet corporate goals, overseeing branded and generic drug development projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Project Manager at Mallinckrodt and was responsible for leading and managing cross-functional teams for generic projects. Before joining Mallinckrodt, Kathy worked at Covidien as a Project Manager, leading teams and ensuring successful ANDA filing. Kathy also worked at Tyco Healthcare as a Manager, where they increased purchasing management responsibilities and improved profitability for the product line. Earlier in their career, Kathy worked at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager, where they established relationships with outside manufacturers and designed policies and procedures for an independent out-sourcing business unit.

Kathy Powers has a background in business and science. Kathy studied International Business at the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University. Kathy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Chemistry from the University of Missouri. Additionally, Kathy pursued Clinical Research Management at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. In terms of certifications, they have obtained qualifications in Managing Resources Across Project Teams and Project Management Foundations: Ethics from LinkedIn, both in 2022.
