Lori Mercurio has extensive experience in various leadership and strategic roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Lori is currently working as the Vice President of Strategy and Strategic Initiatives for the Pharma Services Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Prior to this, they held several positions at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, including Senior Director of Business Development and Licensing, where they oversaw strategic partnerships and portfolio optimization. Lori also served as the Director of Business Development and Licensing, leading initiatives to maximize total returns and carve out non-strategic divisions for divestiture. In addition, they have experience in procurement operations, strategic initiatives, and project management in various global operations. Before joining Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, they worked at Covidien as a Senior Portfolio Manager and R&D Project Manager. Lori started their career at KV Pharmaceutical as a Site Quality Lead and Manager of Quality Complaint Administration. Prior to that, they worked at Sanofi as a Quality Technical Coordinator. Throughout their career, Lori has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder value, change management, and operations management.
Lori Mercurio has an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School. Lori also holds a BS degree in Biology from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Masters in Quality Management from Webster University.
