Mayra Arosemena

Mayra Arosemena's work experience includes serving as the Director of Human Resources/CHRO at Mallol Arquitectos since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Copa Airlines as the Human Resources Director from an undisclosed start date until August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for HR processes and operations in 32 countries, supervising 3 managers and 23 employees. Arosemena also has experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Panama, where they served as the Undersecretary of State from an undisclosed start date until 2014, and as the Secretary General and Ambassador from August 2009 to September 2013. In these positions, they successfully led negotiations and processes for various diplomatic matters.

Mayra Arosemena completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette between 1980 and 1984. Mayra then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resource Management/Personnel Administration from the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnologia from 1998 to 1999. Most recently, in 2012 to 2013, they attended the University of California, Berkeley and completed a Programa de Alta Gerencia en Competitividad e Innovación, focusing on Competitiveness and Innovation.
