Ray Begley

Ray Begley currently serves as the Group Maintenance Manager for Malmaison and Hotel DuVin since May 2001, focusing on team development, contract management, and health and safety within the hotels, while also emphasizing energy reduction and waste management. Prior to this role, Ray was a Maintenance Assistant at Thistle Hotel Manchester from January 1992 to April 2001, where responsibilities included daily maintenance tasks and managing budgets for small projects and refurbishments. Ray began the career as a Sheet Metal Fabricator at Thermoair Ltd from January 1985 to December 1989, following education at Carlow Technical from 1980 to 1988.
