Carol S. Long

Carol Long has extensive experience in academia. Carol first worked at Willamette University, starting in 1972 as a Professor of English and Dean. Carol held this position until 2009. Long then joined SUNY Geneseo as Provost, serving from 2009 until 2013. Carol later returned to Willamette University in 2016 as Provost and Senior Vice President. Long also served as Interim President at SUNY Geneseo in 2013.

Carol Long attended Pomona College from 1962 to 1966, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English. Carol then pursued further education at Northwestern University, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Ph.D. in English Literature from 1966 to 1972.
