Scott Waalkes

Scott Waalkes serves as the Director of the Pendle Hill Program at Malone University since August 1998, where responsibilities include curriculum research, branding, marketing, grant proposal development, and program budget management. In addition, Scott Waalkes holds the title of Director of General Education, overseeing a 43-credit-hour liberal arts core curriculum, and was previously a Professor of International Politics, designing and teaching numerous courses while publishing extensively in the field. Scott Waalkes also has experience as a Sabbatical Fellow in Public Policy at the American Studies Program, a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Bahrain, and a visiting assistant professor at Calvin College. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in Political Science from Calvin University.
