The Payroll & Billing Specialist is primarily responsible for processing payroll and billing for their assigned branches and clients by importing and exporting information in multiple systems, verifying data, and balancing report totals.  The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of payroll terms and processes.  They will be detail oriented and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Strong organization and excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment. The Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll hours received in various forms (timesheets/web time, Excel spreadsheets, etc) from branches
  • Guide workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Utilize our account and payroll software
  • Act as the point of contact for the branch with payroll related concerns and adjustments
  • Troubleshoot errors and process corrections
  • Use the system tools and resources to identify potential issues and take a proactive approach to resolve them

The Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 1 year of payroll experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to maintain accuracy and thoroughness in financial transactions and records.

  • Comfortable with technology and learning new systems

  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with finance and HR teams.

  • Available to work in office Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
