Gisle Bakkeli

Gisle Bakkeli has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Gisle currently serves as the Head of Department Technical Service at Malvik Kommune starting from August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Head of Climate, Energy, and Public Relations at Trondheim kommune from August 2016 to November 2021. Gisle also worked as the Head of Geomatics at the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) from May 2013 to September 2016. Gisle was the Head of Engineering, Planning, Agriculture, and Environment at Leksvik kommune from November 2012 to November 2013 and held the position of Manager at Profero AS from November 2010 to September 2012. Gisle has also worked as a Program Coordinator for Interreg Sverige-Norge at Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune from January 2008 to March 2011 and as the Head of Business Unit at Brønnøysundregistrene from August 2001 to January 2008. Earlier in their career, they served as a Project Leader at Veterinærinstituttet i Trondheim/VESO Trondheim from August 1997 to April 2002 and worked as a Teacher Substitute at Sjetne Barne og Ungdomskole from August 1994 to February 1998.

Gisle Bakkeli obtained their Master's degree in Geography from NTNU, completing their studies from 1991 to 1998.
