Derek Sweeney

Derek Sweeney has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles. Derek is currently the VP Sales International at Malwarebytes, where they lead the EMEA/APAC sales team and rebuilt the Channel Partner GTM Strategy. Before that, they were the VP/GM EMEA at OneLogin, where they successfully achieved the 2021 annual revenue target and developed strategic plans with key stakeholders. Prior to that, Derek had an Inside Sales Consultancy, providing IT sales consultancy services and channel partner management. Derek also served as the Global Sales Director at Wisetek, leading the global sales operation. Earlier in their career, Derek held positions as VP Sales EMEA at SolarWinds, Inside Sales Director EMEA at Dell Software Group, and Inside Sales Director EMEA at VMware. Derek has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Derek Sweeney has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from University College Cork. Derek also holds a Marketing Diploma from the Irish Management Institute.
