Erin Bennett

Erin Bennett is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in treasury management, operations, and research. Currently serving as the Head of Treasury at Mama Money since November 2018, Erin oversees forex trading, funding processes, and banking operations. Previous experience includes a research internship at Cenfri, providing insights on financial regulation and inclusion, and roles at BNP Paribas Securities Services, where Erin managed equity and derivative settlements, ensuring regulatory compliance and resolving trade issues. Erin's foundational experience began at Allan Gray Proprietary Limited, working in various operational roles related to offshore investments and unit trusts, as well as a data research analyst position at Bloomberg New Energy Finance, focusing on solar energy financing. Erin holds an MCom in Development Finance from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, along with a BCom Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance.
