Jeanette Monsalve is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community resilience and healthcare. As the Co-Founder and Director of Org and Community Resilience at Mama Sana/Vibrant Woman since April 2016, Jeanette has played a vital role in addressing systemic barriers for mothers and people of color through community building, fundraising, and outreach initiatives. Prior to this, Jeanette served as a Vaccine Specialist and Library Administrative Assistant for the City of Austin, and held managerial roles at International Healthcare Solutions, focusing on compassionate patient care in an abortion and gynecology clinic. Jeanette's career also includes significant contributions as a Patient Advocate/Medical Assistant in reproductive services, a Cooperative Worker Owner at Yo Mamas Catering Cooperative, and a Breastfeeding Counselor for WIC. Jeanette holds a Next Economy MBA in Equitable, Inclusive and Regenerative Economics from Lift Economy, completed in 2022.
