Luke Ellis

Chief Executive Officer at Man AHL

Luke Ellis was appointed to the Board in September 2016, having previously served as President of Man Group since 2012. During this time he was responsible for the management of Man’s four investment businesses: Man AHL, Man GLG, Man Numeric and Man FRM.

Prior to this, Luke was Head and CIO of Man’s Multi-Manager business and Non-Executive Chair of GLG’s Multi-Manager activities. Luke previously served as Managing Director of FRM from 1998-2008 where he was one of two partners running the business.

Before joining FRM, Luke was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan in London where, as Global Head, he was responsible for building the firm’s Global Equity Derivatives and Equity Proprietary Trading business.

Luke is the Deputy Chair of the Standards Board for Alternative Investments Limited and Chair of the Board of Trustees of Greenhouse Sports Limited.
