Jan Holst

Jan Holst is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in engine control systems and project management. Currently serving as the Manager and Head of Core Engine Control Systems at MAN Energy Solutions since January 2020, Jan has held multiple roles, including Senior Technical Project Manager and Scrum Master, focusing on project management, engine control system development, and dynamic system simulations. Previously, Jan worked at MAN Diesel & Turbo from July 2006 to January 2020 as a Research Engineer, contributing to the development of ME & ME-B engine control systems and enhancements in HMI and troubleshooting capabilities. Jan's career began with an internship at Coloplast A/S in 2002. Jan holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, completed in 2006 and 2004, respectively, and an HTX degree obtained in 1999.
