Robert Reitinger has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert has held various leadership roles in finance and controlling at multiple companies. In 1986, they started their career as a Reserve Officer in the Bundeswehr. Robert then worked as a Revisionsassistent at AWT Allgemeine Wirtschaftstreuhand GmbH from 1996 to 1997. From 1997 to 1999, they served as a Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungsassistent at König & Dr. Lauritzen. In 1999, they became a Beteiligungscontroller at MAN Truck & Bus AG before transitioning to MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd in 2000 as the Head of Sales Controlling & Reporting. Robert returned to MAN Truck & Bus AG in various controlling and leadership roles from 2001 to 2009. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at MAN Truck & Bus Österreich AG as the Hauptabteilungsleiter Controlling & Accounting Production Unit Light & Medium Range, and then as the Finanzvorstand. Since 2014, they have been at MAN Energy Solutions, where they have held positions such as Vice President Controlling Four Stroke Engines, Vice President Controlling & Business Administration Strategic Business Unit Engines & Marine Systems, and their current role as Vice President Supply Chain Controlling.
Robert Reitinger attended the University of Regensburg from 1990 to 1996, where they completed their degree in Diplom-Kaufmann with a focus on Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1990, they attended Staatliche Berufsoberschule Scheyern, but did not receive a specific degree. Robert also completed a vocational training program at BMW AG, Werk Dingolfing from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained a degree in Industriekaufmann. In 2010 to 2011, Robert Reitinger attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where they completed the MAN Executive Management Programme.
