Dr. Martin Meyer

Dr. Martin Meyer has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Dr. Martin has held various senior leadership positions at MAN Truck & Bus SE, including Senior Vice President and Head of Truck Production Network, Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources for the MAN Truck & Bus Group, and Vice President of various departments such as Cab Production, Factory Logistics, and Global Transportation and Container Logistics. Dr. Martin has also served as the overall project leader for the launch and localization of heavy trucks in South America. Prior to their time at MAN Truck & Bus SE, Dr. Meyer worked as a Project Engineer and Project Manager at FIR an der RWTH Aachen.

Dr. Martin Meyer completed their education at RWTH Aachen University from 1997 to 2006, earning a Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt. Ing. degree in Studium Maschinenbau/ Studium Wirtschaftswissenschaften/ Promotion Ingenieurwesen. Dr. Martin also pursued a Master Thesis on Lean Production at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2002. In later years, they attended various General Management Seminars at the University of Oxford in 2011, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2012, ESMT Berlin in 2015, HEC Paris in 2019, and IESE Business School in 2020.
