Eric Vargas

Eric Vargas, CFA has been working as a Vice President of Institutional Business Development at Man Group since 2018. Prior to this, they held various roles at Philips including Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst 2, and Financial Analyst 1. In their role as a Financial Analyst 1, Eric managed a diverse portfolio worth over $570 million and conducted financial statement analysis for risk assessment. Eric also organized and presented quarterly credit risk committee meetings and published a Philips North America Credit & Collections report. Eric worked at Philips from 2015 to 2018.

Eric Vargas, CFA holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Providence Country Day School. In addition to their formal education, Eric has also obtained various certifications, including the National Limited Master 100/Limited OUPV from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary in 2021, the CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investment Certificate from the CAIA Association in 2018, and the Series 3, Series 63, and Series 7 certifications from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in 2018. Eric is also certified in Commodities, Equity, Fixed Income, and Foreign Exchange by Bloomberg in 2014. Furthermore, Eric has achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute. Eric also possesses Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Six Sigma Green Belt.
