Vlad Mereuță

Vlad Mereuță is an experienced professional in the field of software engineering and risk management, currently serving as Head of Risk Engineering at Man Group since November 2017, where responsibilities include leading two product teams focused on developing an internal data lake, data catalogue, and ETL tooling. Previously, Vlad held roles at Man AHL as a Trading Systems Engineer from 2013 to October 2017, managing various equity trading systems. Prior experience includes working at Random Walk Partners LLP as a Software Craftsman and Trading System Developer, where Vlad contributed to the development of infrastructure for high-frequency trading algorithms, and held positions at Aspect Capital, Amadeus Services Ltd, and Sportsbusiness. Vlad earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with First-Class Honours in Computer Science from the University of Warwick between 1999 and 2002.
