Steve Blizzard

Steve Blizzard has a diverse work experience in the field of acquisition and contracting. Steve has held various roles, including Content Management Director at Management Concepts Inc. since 2019, Federal Contracting Consultant at Stafford Consulting Company, Inc. from 2018 to 2019, and Learning Product Development Director at Management Concepts Inc. from 2011 to 2018. Prior to that, they worked as an Acquisition and Contracting Subject Matter Expert at Management Concepts from 2008 to 2011 and as the Chief, Contracting Operations Division at the Secretary of the Air Force, Deputy Assistant Secretary (Contracting) from 2006 to 2008. Steve also served as a Deputy Commander at the 3rd Mission Support Group in 2006 and as a Commander at the 3rd Contracting Squadron from 2004 to 2006. Steve Blizzard's earlier experience includes roles such as Chief, Contracting Policy Division at Air Force Materiel Command from 2002 to 2003, and Commander, DCMA Antelope Valley at Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) from 2000 to 2002. Steve Blizzard holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from Air University (2003-2004), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of South Dakota (1987-1989), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from East Carolina University (1981-1985). Steve also possesses certifications in DAWIA Contracting Level III and DAWIA Program Management Level I.
