Rebecca Bovinet

Rebecca Bovinet has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Rebecca worked as an Attorney at Law at Wicker Smith et. al. from September 2017 to November 2020, where they focused on medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability, commercial litigation, insurance defense, and automobile negligence. Rebecca'sresponsibilities included handling all phases and aspects of litigation, attending hearings, drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, arguing dispositive motions, mediating cases, and assisting with trials and arbitrations.

Prior to that, Rebecca served as a Law Clerk at Wicker Smith et. al. from January 2016 to April 2017, where they gained experience in various legal tasks.

Rebecca also worked as a Senior Corporate Counsel & Director of Compliance at MedPro Healthcare Staffing starting in January 2024. Prior to this role, they held the position of Corporate Counsel and Director of Compliance at the same company from October 2022 to January 2024. In this role, Rebecca worked closely with executive leadership to advise on potential liability and develop creative solutions. Rebecca also oversaw and finalized all contract negotiations.

Additionally, Rebecca has experience as an Editor-in-Chief at FIU Law Review from February 2016 to May 2017, where they demonstrated their leadership and organizational skills.

Furthermore, Rebecca worked as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Skills and Values Course and served as a Student Ambassador at the same time from July 2015 to May 2016.

Earlier in their career, Rebecca served as a Law Clerk at Berman and Berman, P.A. from August 2015 to November 2015, where they drafted legal documents and provided general assistance to the attorneys.

Lastly, Rebecca gained valuable experience as a Judicial Intern at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida from May 2015 to August 2015. In this position, they worked on assignments given by Judge Beth Bloom and their supervising law clerk, involving legal research, writing memoranda of law, drafting orders, and observing courtroom proceedings.

Rebecca Bovinet attended Florida International University - College of Law from 2014 to 2017. Rebecca also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Social Science from Florida Atlantic University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
