Lyn Wallington BA, CHRP has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the soccer industry. Lyn currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Managing Matters Inc. where they are responsible for driving talent management and development initiatives. Prior to this, they worked at Ontario Soccer as the Director of Member Relations and Human Resources, playing a key role in strategic planning for HR and overseeing operations in various areas. Lyn has also served as the Executive Director at both York Region Soccer Association and Markham Soccer Club, demonstrating their experience and expertise in executive leadership positions.

Lyn Wallington holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban & Economic Planning from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Lyn also pursued a Project Management Certification from Mount Royal University from 2014 to 2015. Later, they completed a Human Resource Management Certification from Sheridan College from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Lyn Wallington obtained additional certifications such as being a Licensed Kolbe Consultant from Kolbe Corp in May 2022 and becoming a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in May 2020.
