Pro Vice Chancellor, Science and Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University

Andy Gibson is the Pro Vice Chancellor, Science and Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University. Prior to this, they were the Enterprise Training Lead at The Co-operative Bank plc from January 2013 to December 2014. Andy has also worked as a Senior Trainer at Evolution Money from July 2016 to January 2019.

Andy is an expert in training and development, with a focus on delivering training that results in positive behavioural changes in managers and employees. Andy has designed and delivered training programs on managing mental health in the workplace, coaching, and supporting vulnerable customers. Andy is also experienced in designing and facilitating training events and courses to meet regulatory requirements.

Andy Gibson has a degree in Environmental Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University. Andy also has a Certificate in People Development from Stockport College. Andy is certified from the Institute of Banking and Finance in CeMAP.

Andy Gibson reports to Stephen Decent, Provost and Deputy Vice Chancellor. They work with Sharon Handley - Pro Vice Chancellor, Arts and Humanities, Jennifer Watling - Pro Vice Chancellor, International, and Alison Chambers - Pro Vice Chancellor, Health and Education.
