Ash Keyte has a strong background in regulatory compliance and security, with extensive experience in the sports industry. They began their career in 2001 with the Greater Manchester Police, where they specialized in football-related roles and achieved the rank of Sergeant. During their time with the police, they were responsible for enforcing football legislation, obtaining banning orders, and ensuring compliance with court-imposed conditions. They also represented the English police force at the World Cup in Brazil and delivered training to international police officers. In 2017, they joined the Department for Work and Pensions as part of the Counter Fraud & Compliance Directorate. They then became a consultant for AGK Football Law, providing legal advice and case management for football-related governance. They also worked as an Asset Recovery Specialist for Kindertons Accident Management. In 2021, they joined Warrington Borough Council as a Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer, focusing on public protection. Ash Keyte currently holds the position of Security Compliance Officer and Ski Data Controller at Manchester United, as well as the role of Ticket Compliance Officer at Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

Ash Keyte attended Albany Science College from 1992 to 1997. They then went on to study Business Administration and Management, General at Runshaw College from 1997 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Ash obtained the following: Investigative Interviewer from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in February 2018, Behaviour Detection Officer from the UK Home Office in March 2015, UKFPU Dedicated Football Officer from the College of Policing in May 2012, Police Sergeant [Part 1 & 2] from the College of Policing in 2009, and Public Order Evidence Gathering from the College of Policing in May 2008.
